The Hakola Ranchette is an 80–acre property in the heart of Western South Dakota. The centerpiece of the property is a barn to home conversion completed in 2025. The character of the structure’s first life as a classic Western barn is maintained both inside and out. The original structure was built in 1967 with solid 2×6 dimensional lumber on concrete footings. This home is built to last for generations with solid bones and “show home” level finishes, ranging from new windows and doors to take advantage of the surrounding views to a custom walnut topped kitchen island with seating, claw foot bathtub and a tile shower.  The entire interior of the home is new except where the quality and character of the original structure is preserved to shine through.  The build has been completed with exceptional craftsmanship.

This modern feeling four bedroom, two bath home will be enjoyed for years to come. This really is a property that you need to see to appreciate. Come to one of the open house dates or schedule a private showing today.

Acreage: 80 acres total, offered in two tracts. Approximately 60 acres of productive hayground with the balance making up the home site and grassy hillside.

Broker participation is invited. Form and deadline required.
